Many on here wanted a ‘fit’ JL to start but not sure why the same posters thought he would be match for after not playing for over 3 weeks.

he conned us out a cup but the buck stops at the manager who failed us big time

3 weeks is nothing ffs, 3 months aye but players have came straight back in after 3 weeks out loads of times

It’s actually not and only some players can come back and perform as though they’ve never missed a game but we’re talking about JL here.

Some players lose fitness and form quickly if not getting minutes on the park on a consistent basis, perhaps he falls into that category. We had players who were fit and playing consistently and were equally as poor as Lundstram. What really annoys me is this type of comment with absolutely nothing to back it up other than one draw against them in three attempts and no victory in the league since 2021. Just keep it to yourself and next game go and show the gaps not as big.

I don't think any of the players were anywhere near the levels of fitness required for this season and this has carried through, pre-season training looks to have been shite.  We were really fit last season, playing midweek and 120 minute semi-finals and finals and still looked fit as fuck at the end.

Whats his excuse or the rest of his Rangers career then? Apart from a 10 week spell feb 2022 to april 22???

Lundstram would have read the abuse he took in the aftermath of Sunday, so fair do's for doing the press conference, but the soundbites are too shallow and all too familiar.

Even his sound bites are shit TBH.

Its amazing what the thought of a place in the team for cup finals and big euro games can do to a players attitude

Is it fitness or player application, a lot of them don't look unfit, they look disinterested, example the lack of tracking runners for the tarrier goals

Don’t know if anyone else heard it but in the Club Deck there was some quiet booing when he came on.

Hopefully this doesn’t catch on. We shouldn’t be booing our own unless it’s exceptional circumstances.

His performance on Sunday was not an exceptional circumstance?

He's happy to reach a cup final, fuck him.

I really didn't see the need to bring him on today. If Raskin was tiring and needed rest for Wednesday, then replace him with Hagi, who desperately needs minutes. We need to get away from always needing to play defensive-minded at home.

Aye that’s the sub a thought should have been made

Never heard it, just some mad man who screamed ‘come on big John’ everytime he got the ball

He’s done here. Shite the season so far, injury, back and that performance last sun.

Back on the pitch as a sub today and just going through the motions.

Any team team offers anything just take it

Not so sure he was just going through the motions today… thought he helped get us back on top after a poor start to 2nd half… he did ok… I do agree with you that his time is up at the club.
