Lack of mobility, ability and application in the forward line

Team needs ripped up, particularly in the attacking areas.

Morleos got his goal, but was a fucking carthorse today. Mobility, pace and application were howling.

Sakala tries, but he’s just lacking any real ability. Falling over his feet, taking the wrong option and then his missed tap in sum him up.

Kent was marginally less worse than these two jokers, but only marginally.

Happy to see all 3 replaced in the summer. Winning nothing with them as they are.

Raskin is a potential superstar. Good enough to potentially play in any European top league.

To leave him out for Kamara and Lundstram is criminal.

Team does need ripped up but it's not just the attacking areas that need improvement.

We're talking a full rebuild from back to front. 

We have a midfield that can't win battles. If you can't gain control in midfield your onto nothing.

Backline needs a commanding CB and we need better fullbacks. 

Finally we need a new no 1 keeper. 

It's criminal how we've gone from 55 to this.

You're focused on the forward line but that first goal was absolutely  fucking criminal. Keeper glued to the front post, taig striker totally unmarked in the 6 yard box with an open goal..... how the fuck does that even happen in a cup final? Still can't get my head round it.

We also need a Goalie, a dominating  midfielder, a centre half, a left back and a right back who can start taking over from Tav in season 2023/2024.

You're right about Morelos' pace, and probably Sakala's ability, but the rest of the post is an absolute riddy.

Morelos' link up play better than anything in the league for a start.

Kent better than anything they had though he can and should be better.

We're so used to playing to Morelos's strengths that we can't get away from it.

Striker dropping deep, getting involved in shite, linking up play to no one and can barely run at a decent speed.

We need to get away from that, our opposition today play their striker so far forward he's offside half the game but gets into the right positions to score.

Would love us to sign a pacey striker that plays on the last man and getting behind but can't see it, even if we do our midfield won't make the most of it.

Kent was shockingly bad today. He thinks he needs to be 3 players every time he has the ball even if he is in our half. 90% of the time he messes it up.
