Makes me slightly sad watching that tbh. He was clearly talented and could have easily ended up playing in the big leagues on that form and made us and himself a nice return. 

It's very sad to now see him struggling to find a club at 27 when he should have easily had another 5 or 6 years playing at a top level. He's only got himself to blame.

The days when he used to pass and didn't shoot any time he was within 30 yards of goal. 

His link up play used to be one of his strongest attributes and by the end one of his worst.

I think there’s a bit on Gerrard as well tbh.

Couldn't work out how to play without him, and as a result ended up almost making him indispensable and then thinking he was bigger than the club. Got away with far too much for too long, without much consequence.

When he first came to us and had the aggression and power he was brilliant but maybe due to his humble background and now having provided for his family he has lost the edge in his game.

After last season can’t see a top 5 league coming now, hope he gets sorted soon.
