It moved to the covered section at the Copland road end after that area was turned into the centenary stand. They used to also go there for games against "them" as they had part of that section. 

Wee bit before my time, so I bow to your superior knowledge. Makes sense mind you as I believe that what became the  Centenary, the huge middle terrace, was the only bit of terrace with a roof over it until a partial (only covered half the terrace for some reason) was built on the Copland. Obviously the Choir would gather under the roof for the acoustics and of course shelter from the Glasgow weather.
