That all changes with Danilo joining now as well as the rest having had more minutes. What else was he to do? They’re just friendlies. Probably more about getting the rest of the team to work on the shape and style and asking Sima to do a job due to lack of fit strikers if that is going to be the preferred system going forward. I think we are planning on being able to mix it up between 2 or 3 up top this season, but realistically the majority of our team are used to playing a variation of 3 (under Gerrard then Gio and Beale) but 2 is a change for them so most of the time has been spent working on how the defence and midfield work in that system.
