While he was part of the squad i thought he could be used in a different role centrally, but for me he lacks real pace and penetration that would make him an asset. I hope the loan at Alaves works out for him and we get a couple of million back for him in the summer to reinvest in the team. Same,Same but different. Lammers game reminds me too much of Hagis. All the things I hated of Hagi, Lammers brings. 7m(ish) on these two. Probably a wage of roughly £40k+ between the two. Its so hard to believe that you spend months scouting these players and decide after 10-20 reports that they'll fit in.... The boy from PSV will hopefully be the answer.
