Penalties? The away the goals he’s scored he’s set up over 100 goals in a thousand game, he’s more than contributed compared to forward players.

Nobody can question his return in terms of goals and assists but he isn’t the same player he was (ago catches up with everyone)

 

We need a major rebuild this summer and need to raise funds. Also his continued presence around the club creates too much debate around his role in any successes and failures. Part of the rebuild needs to be a clear intention to break from the cycle of underachievement and whether folk agree or disagree as captain throughout that period Tav is always going to be linked to those discussions.

I have wanted a change of captain for a while now.  Someone much more aggressive and not just a technocrat which I think is what tav is. As it is we need most of a new defence. Then we can look at the forward roles.

You've for some reason put a question mark at the end of 'penalties' there. Is there a reason for that? The overwhelming majority of his goals scored have been penalties. Are you saying that's incorrect?

I scored many penalties at amateur level, but I couldn't defend worth a fuck. He gets too much credit for scoring penalties (he's also missed 16)

That’s great. You could also convincingly argue that Butland is a better GK than Hart. It matters nada when we don’t have a good enough striker or when our defence (including Tav) is lacking.

He's a right back that's awarded the tarriers more goals and points than any cunt else, including last fucking week and Ross County again last Sunday. This is nothing new. He does it every fucking season.

Yes, Tav has contributed to many goals.

This attacking qualities were always his strength. 

But that's been on the wane for a while. He far less effective in the opponents half than he once was . 

For example, he rarely get down the line now or whips in those Beckham like crosses.

You can't play someone now because of what they have done in the past and expect the same when they're just not capable of it anymore.

Tav's time is up, It's been coming for a while, Sterling should of had a few more outings at RB earlier in the season to prepare him for taking over.

Although, we could also do with Sterlings energy in midfield. He deserves his shot at RB.

He shouldn't LB except for emergencies, another Clement mistake.

I've no idea what's going on with Raskin. He's barely been picked by Clement recently.  Maybe there's something going on between them. 

But we could do with the energy of an inform Raskin in the team.

When he broke the British record the majority of his goals came from open play/free kicks. He has scored about 2 penalties since.

You can't question his scoring record, but you have to question his role as captain. Should have been stripped of it immediately following THAT match day program IMO.
