graeme_4 35,576 Posted Sunday at 09:11 Share Posted Sunday at 09:11 Brought in… - Cortes - Nsiala - Jefte - Barron and likely to be Igamane announced tomorrow, and Kelly once Scotland go out. Slightly disappointed to not have shifted any diddies yet and looking really light on quality in forward areas at the moment, but still excited to see what these new guys offer and where they fit in the squad. GK Butland, McCrorie, Kelly RB Tav Devine LB Ridvan Jefte CB Goldson Balogun Nsiala Souttar Davies King CM Diomande Sterling Barron Raskin Cifuentes AM Cantwell Lawrence Hagi Dowell Lammers RW Cortes Wright McCausland LW Matondo CF Dessers Igamane Danilo When you lay it all out, there’s some serious work to be done actually. So much shite to try and shift on. Could move the 5 attacking midfielders on and wouldn’t miss a single one of their contributions. The Specky Forum Organiser 67,079 Posted Sunday at 09:50 Share Posted Sunday at 09:50 Expecting Nsiala and Cortes to be starters. Igamame and Jefte to be punts we hope we can turn into something. Barron somewhere in between. Content enough with that and the fact we're looking to add physicality and youth but expecting the level of player we bring in to start increasing by a fair bit. Also need to start shifting on as many of Tav, Goldson, Davies, Yilmaz, Dowell, Lawrence, Raskin, Matondo, Cantwell, Wright, Dessers and Lammers as possible. graeme_4, HG5 and J-Maestro

With the squad change over required, I don’t see it being managed over this window, especially getting players out. There are some big wages in the AM section that haven’t contributed enough so complete overhaul. A starting CB should be next priority to replace Goldson or Davies. Colin Traive 23,332 Posted Sunday at 11:40 Share Posted Sunday at 11:40 Not one of the AMs is worth keeping. I expect Lammers and Hagi to get moves but the ex-Norwich pair might be more difficult to shift. Need to find at least two for that position but it might mean waiting until we can move dross out. KBOO72 4,546 Posted Sunday at 15:01 Share Posted Sunday at 15:01 Still alot of time left in the window but you could argue we haven't improved our first 11 at all so far with the signings we've made. It was always going to be a huge task to rebuild the squad in one window but we really need at least one or 2 who add real quality to our starting 11, even just to get the fans excited for the start of the season. MacBoyd 5,683 Posted Sunday at 16:31 Share Posted Sunday at 16:31 I'd say our squad is better but starting 11 probably not. Need to step up a quality striker winger midfield and centre back are a must.
