A little translation from his Latvian Wikipedia page...

"In 2014 takes its performance improves significantly: steadily conquered the place in the first team, scored several shotguns, up four goals against Jurmala signed on 1 November 2014, which also joined the hat-trick seven days after, earned him the top scorer with 28 goals."

I suppose that's one way to get through a 10-man back line.

Looked decent on the youtube vid.I know he is not playing at the highest of levels at the moment but he looks like would give physical presence and goal threat.May have to loan Hardie out if we sign this player though as he would likely move down the pecking order unless Clark leaves.

That's from the Italian page I think, the original translation in Italian is the word "Doppiette" which means double-barrelled shotgun, but the person who wrote it probably meant "Doppietta", which means brace or double (as in 2 goals a game).

Is the Latvian top flight much worse than Scotlands? I wouldn't think so

Lets see what the gaffer and Davie Weir thinks and take it from there.

There's more people in the greater metropolitan area in and around Glasgow than there is in Latvia but agreed let's let the gaffer run the rule over this lad.

Would be a great signing. Scored 39 goals in 76 games for Skonto Riga and he is only 20. Scored 29 in 34 when he was only 18. It may only be the latvian league but you can only score against whats put in front of you.

He was offered to Rangers in Summer a long with some other Eastern European players which included fellow Latvian Davis Ikaunieks but due to the new management nothing came to be.

was this the Reading scout thats pal with your da that told you this?

There's more people in thd greater metropolitan area around Glasgow than in Iceland and they are going to the Euro's while we sit at home.

I was more referring to our 'top' clubs performances in Europe.

Lets see what the gaffer thinks,he didn't sign the Israeli boy despite him having all the credentials and looking half decent in a bounce game.
