Think we can all agree that Warburton and Murty we’re both soft as shite. The new ‘HR’ culture was implemented by MW IMO.

Smith was the total opposite. He’d have whoever by the scruff of the neck because he had the power to end your time at Rangers. Murty was always temporary and was always doomed when things got tough as he had no power whatsoever.

That doesn’t mean that Miller or Wallace were in the right though. They should have been digging out the players first and foremost, and not pulling out the squad (and several previously).

Both Miller and Wallace are just as culpable as the rest, and have been involved in some of the worst results in our history.

Looking forward to them both being gone.

You’re right about Walter and actually those days are gone, you can’t manage like that anymore I think we’d all agree.

The crux of the matter though probably boils down to exactly what was said. Everyone will have their own opinions, truth is we know fuck all because we weren’t there. However, regardless of what was said even if it was extreme Murty was a player for long enough to know that what happens in the dressing room stays in the dressing room. He should have been man enough to hand out any punishments himself, if they were justified, without the involvement of hierarchy.

Good point, Wallace and Miller probably felt emboldened after the Pedro fiasco earlier in the season.

You absolutely can manage like that still if you’re successful.

Quite a number of high profile managers have no issue with hanging players out to dry if need be and quite rightly. If you do this when the fans don’t support you it’s not going to work though

A really doubt the pulling out story is true

Fickle? You’ve done a uturn on Dave King because he brought in an under 18s manager

You explain then

Again you fail to see the big picture. An under 18's manager is well the least of it and as I said, not hard to see what is in front of you regards Wallace.

I think you’re right to an extent but even if you’re successful it can still happen in this day and age of player power. Players can chuck a manager under the bus within weeks if they want to, look at Mourinho’s second spell at Chelsea players had had enough of him. Conte comes in and they win the league. They then get the hump with Conte so down tools after winning the league (plus some shite decisions in the transfer market ) and finish outside the top four. Leicester players have done it with a few managers now as well.

Rightly or wrongly these two guys are punished but this fukin tarrier loser is welcomed back with open arms maybe we dont have the money to get rid of him but this cunt done more damage than these two players

That is not the fuckng point.

He was a shit manager, but he was makeshift. It wasn't him missing fucking sitters in front of goal. It wasn't him hiding for 80 minutes of a game. It wasn't him shiting himself in goal. It wasn't him who shat it on the park from the scum and not a fucking tackle made. It wasn't him running to the gutter press everytime certain spineless bastards weren't happy.

But hey ho, on ye go. Murty being a useless bastard does not absolve many players for being useless spineless cunts and the two mixing bastards that caused the shitstorm weren't even playing. Aye let's target a shrinkng violet of a manager. That'll fuckin show him. Such fucking heroes, so brave, aye?!

It was him that picked the players and set up the tactics and him that's meant to motivate the players. Windass was leaning against the wall in the tunnel ffs.  This has been badly handled and developed molehill into mountain needlessly. Also played out for far too long. I'm with Miller and Wallace on this. Murty can do wan...

So Miller says it was nothing physical, and he doesn’t regret what was said. Can someone tell me, honestly, what they could possibly have said, in the aftermath of one of our worst ever performances, to warrant being fined a months wages? Bear in mind, the “manager” was on camera at the time, saying they shouldn’t discuss the game because it would “only lead to conflict”?

Miller is a guest on Sportsound, could be interesting.

Kenny Miller says he is determined to defend himself against the "defamation of my character" as he and Lee Wallace dispute Rangers' fine and suspension.

The players were disciplined after a dressing-room dispute following the Scottish Cup semi-final loss to celtic.

They this week referred the case to the Scottish Professional Football League.

"It is to defend myself against the allegations and the defamation of my character, which has happened twice this season," said striker Miller.

Miller's agent publicly criticised Pedro Caixinha for dropping the 38-year-old amid claims of a leak from the dressing-room before the Portuguese was sacked in October.

Despite having now left the club at the end of his contract, the former Scotland striker feels unable to go into details of the later disagreement with Caixinha's predecessor, Graeme Murty.

Scotland left-back Wallace, who had been Rangers captain and has a year left of his contract, is due to return to training under new manager Steven Gerrard next week.

"It is still an ongoing matter and that's why we've not really been talking at all in the six or seven weeks since it happened," Miller told BBC Radio Scotland's Sportsound programme.

Kenny Miller was on the bench for the Scottish Cup semi-final and Lee Wallace missed the game

"We are disputing the fine and we'll just have to see how that goes. It will likely be a longish process.

"The time will be right when I can clear a few things up - not just about this situation but what's happened over the course of the season."

The veteran striker was an unused substitute as Rangers lost 4-0 at Hampden against their city rivals, while Wallace was not involved following a spell out through injury.

Miller did stress that the after-match incident was verbal rather than physical and that he has no regrets over what happened.

"It is something that happens in every dressing room," he said. "These things happen with people who care."

Miller believes it has tarnished his reputation as he seeks a new club.

"I never wanted to leave the club that way considering it's been eight years' service to the club, over 300 games, over 100 goals, some fantastic memories, but that was taken out of my hands," he added.

"I care about the place. It is somewhere I've really enjoyed working and I've come back twice since I signed the first time in 2000."

“Defamation of character”

Absolutlely, and both players know who exactly is behind it (Trayngers Observer)

I’m sure Murty being kept on as manager of the 20’s is purely coincidental..

I believe your events ya wee belter.

Tell your brother we were asking for him. We are with Andy Cameron.

Miller was fined 2 weeks mate.

Maybe Wallace fine was a little ott but are we to really believe nothing went on that warranted a fine?

What?

What else Wallace could do:

Suck it up & get his head down at his work. Or request a transfer.

Do you think a football team can improve as a democracy? Examples?
