If we do make the group stages, then I think we need at least another 4 in to compete in all competitions.

The bench last night was pretty average and no one on it if we needed to change the game.

A striker

At least 1 centre half

Attacking mid

And Jordon Jones

We should offer them 175K for Boyata.

Yep we need to replicate that double act thing Tav and Candias have got going on the right, only down the left side.

With Borna in place we need a real top quality wide man now who's also willing to work his arse off for the team.

We are so much harder to beat now it's unrecognisable from last year but we must, must, must get a proven finisher in the door to put games to bed earlier than we currently do.

The club has a decision to make now.

We are very much favourites to advance to the group stages where the income all in is around £12-15m.

celtic are under a little bit of pressure for the first time in 2 years, there is an internal feud and they will undoubtedly have to sell 1, maybe 2 players to make up CL shortfall.

The second leg against Ufa is the day before the window so unlikely we will be able to wait & see the outcome.

Lafferty will come in which is fine but a couple of other players, maybe at £2-2.5m each, probably a centre half & maybe another midfielder or striker could genuinely make the difference between winning the league or not.

We cannot let this season be a ‘what if?’

THIS ^^^^^^^^

Its time to shit or get off the pot.

Got to remember if we make the groups Barisic is in and Flanagan is back from suspension next week.

Honestly think we need another CB and a striker (not laffurty).

I think Flanagan could become a excellent cb. Use the money further forward and sign some real quality. Surely there must be a couple of fringe players in epl sides we could go for or the eastern European market again.

Best scenario is we take a good lead in first leg that could perhaps allow us to sign others before the last minute. Albeit after Zenit result you cant take anything for granted. A good lead however could allow us to rest a couple as 2nd leg long journey back from Russia 3 days before septic game.

Why we waiting? Simply cannot keep on expecting Morelos, Goldson, Katic etc to play every single minute of every game.

Also cannot expect Morelos to carry the burden of A) being only striker at club and B) to score all the goals.

we need to beat Killie and Motherwell before going to the theatre of screams.

Lets give ourselves the best chance of doing so.

This ?

It's time for king and co to turn the screw. We have a golden opportunity to really go after 55 this season.

We really need a winger who is a threat to score. That's what any system with a lone stirker needs. Someone who can cut inside and place a good shot from just outside the box. That's how the pigs won their recent titles, because in SPL nobody can defend inside cutting wingers who can shoot a bit.

Obviously we need a backup for Morelos. Could do better than Lafferty, but won't complain either if it's him. In a 4-3-3 setup your wingers and midfielders just have to be able to score a decent amount.

Then we obviously need a decent CB for cover and a creative playmaker with an eye for through balls would help too. Yesterday we could've caught them on the break a few times, but Arfield/Jack don't have a fine through ball, while Ovie doesn't pull the trigger often enough for my liking.

I also have reservations about Lafferty, but he has found out where the back of the beggars’ net is, which I don’t think can be underestimated.
