Who ever that made the call to take the celebration to the city centre. THAT is who is to blame. Flares on the Clydeside, The death of Terry Munro, weekly updates from CJNovo all of the other videos that we have all lapped up..... jaded by the actions of a handful of morons. This close season should have been one of smug pride, instead we have provided every enemy of our wonderful club with the ammunition to highlight any negativity and bring us down a peg or two. I would think that we should NOT march to George square on flag day, when we lift 56 or any other day.... it's a recipe for disaster and is playing in to the hands of those who wish to destroy us. That sweet caroline doo doo doo video would have been ignored, not lambasted by agenda driven politicians if it wasnt for the George square loonball show. Time to wisen up and stop getting suckered into the wrong side of public perception.
Stevie G has shown pure class mixed with passion. Our supporters have shown so much passion this season and it's up to those that care, to keep a lid on the bampottery that hangs around us. Yes I know, no one likes us and we dont care but let's not hand it on a plate to them.
I'm looking forward to next season, and as Stevie G says "Let's go".....just not to George square please.

There is a concentrated effort to bastardise our club and rather than stand up against it, you want us to just dance to their tune? We could have celebrated 55 in a phone box and the media woulda went at us. You are a sheep. Plain and simply a sheep.

Go to Glasgow any weekend when the clubs are open and you will see those fights and then some. Go to any festival and you will see litter. Go to any fucking over 30s club and you will hear sweet Caroline. If those things offend you then like I said, get in the sea.

We have some people in our fan group who just want us to fucking sing and dance and perform to their tune and fall in line. I truly don't give a fuck if nobody likes us. We don't sing it cause it sounds nice.

You believe what you read in the papers I had a good day and witnessed no trouble at all just joyous celebration which I would not have missed.

There was obviously some trouble like you get at any event but its being overblown by cunts who hate us.

There's been some belters like that on here. I'm sure people used to think @BridgeIsBlue was David Edgar or Cammy from H&H because he used to post the update all the time. rfc52 running the Rangers Loyal FB page as well.

David Edgar made a good point on H&H that he can't think of any major event in Scotland where people drink all day long and it doesnt turn into a scrap.

Happens every year at festivals, night clubs, horse races etc etc but there's never this kind of reaction
