*****Official Rangers v Sparta Match Thread*****

Thought they were finding too much space down the left hand side at times, Tav seems to be moving towards the middle more and Hagi is too far forward when they have the ball.  Thankfully they’ve done fuck all with it so far.

A far better start.

Positives - A clear number 10. Bassey aggression. Kent taking his man on and pulling a ball back. Morelos holding the ball up with confidence knowing he has someone nearby.

Concerns - Hagi is looking like in a European game his legs can't cope with this. It's still a bit Gerrard (I mean the last 3 months) in terms of defensive fragility. McGregor being asked to do a job with the ball at his feet. Tav doing his best to work his way out the team.

Everything coming down Tavs side because hagi and then aribo can’t fkn mark the man in front of them😞

Plus they'll target tav cause he's in very poor form recently, a lot of teams target tavs side because they know its successful

Proving the experts on here wrong again. Big man has been superb.......

Desire, will to fight, will to be aggressive. I've champed him against the haters on here for a long time.

You have to remember we brought him from. Youth academy football, in and out the team this season.

Deserves full back slot as his own imo.

Hes a young boy, he'll make mistakes.

He has shown up his experienced team mates and peers all season imo for desire alone.

We are still too slow and laborious at building from the back, I’d rather we were more direct instead of passing it for passing it sake, its cost us goals playing about with it in the wrong areas plus it’s  fucking boring and we only seem to Ditch playing like that for spells in games, usually when we go a goal down
