STRUTH82 814
Really likeable guy, absolutely gutted to see him go. Hopefully this is so that King slots in as the 3rd/4th choice center back Juniorsparkie
Real Ranger 3,195
He was a great centre half and I would have liked to see him stay but that’s the one position in the squad where we have more than enough cover. For me the only reason he didn’t cement a partnership with Goldson was down to constant small injuries that seen him in and out of the team. Hopefully the decision to let him go was motivated by not only Soutter’s arrival but also Leon King’s progression. leam_baw 166
With Goldson, Souttar, Katic, Helander and Bassey in position, this was always on the cards

SeparateEntityMyArse 53,814
Would have liked to have kept him. Would far prefer him CG, JS and LK as our for CH options plus Bassey. But contractual situations plus the fact we can't have a 1st team squad of 40 players unfortunately makes this the correct decision. Creampuff 22,628
By all reports we offered him a contract so if he’s leaving then he’s obviously either looking for more money or more first-team football. Don’t see this as the crisis some seem to. J-Maestro and plymouthranger
BlueAvenger 10,300
I would have kept Balogun and sold Helander because he’s always fuckin injured kelvd1873 and HG5
Ted E Bayer 484
Disppointing for me. Balogan still had a lot to offer, with his pace and timing of the tackle and he wanted to stay. BlueAvenger
RockwellGers 14,726
Personally disappointed to see him go, I think the coming season could have been the one where he made his mark. Showed a lot for me. Made one of the most savage but controlled slide tackles I've ever seen, against Leipzig I think it was, or the previous round HG5
Badger 8,746
He was a good signing. Came in to fill a back up role and he did it pretty well. Tbh unless we have somebody clearly better lined up, we could have did worse than give him another 12 mths. Proven to be a reliable player. RockwellGers 14,726
Thinking that maybe he left due to the amount of cunts on here who still can't spell his name correctly wully
esquire8 42,991
Didn't he want to go back to Germany? We offered him a contract, he didn't accept, we move on.

GersInCanada 7,775
Will not be at all surprised if he ends up at QPR. Wish him all the best. However we have quite a few CB's and probably time to get one off the wage bill.

Camshy 812
I have to be honest and say I wouldn't have minded him staying but that is sentimental on my behalf. I believe its the right decision, as he's not better than Goldson. Helander will be back, Katic given another chance and obviously Soutar coming in.......can't see him getting much game time. Oh and we also have big Shirley who at this moment in time could probably play goalkeeper no bother as well 🤣 Good luck Leon you were well liked among the support. plymouthranger, One Jock Wallace, scottyscott1963 and 1 other
Moody Blue 9,403
Likeable big guy and has been a positive signing since he joined, when most of us said ‘who the fuck is he? He’s from Wigan, he must be shite’ Good luck to the big man, still remember his big cigar after 55 falkirkNS, HG5 and One Jock Wallace
