There’s a difference between not throwing players under a bus and this utter drivel.

This is a concern.

We've picked up 3 points from 15. We've won one game in our last five and he hasn't said "it's not good enough" yet.

I'm 100% behind him, but that presser has me a little worried.

If we don't start signing decent wingers, he can forget it.

Wright, Matondo, McAusland & Silva will never bring trophies to Rangers. And that's just this year. It's gone on for over a decade.

Not to mention needing new strikers and a brand-new defence.

He's got a lot of work to do.

Tbf he did. One of the first things he did was sign a winger, who in the brief spell he played looked exciting.

But as usual, crocked.

Personally I think he can see what we need. He wanted another left back in the january window, didn't happen, and look how that turned out.

We need to stick by him. We don't really have a choice, have to have faith that if he gets his own players that suit his style.

Doesn't have a left back instead of Sterling.

Was between Lawrence and Dowell for the midfield slot.

Doesn't trust any other winger in the squad.

The squad is shit. He can't constantly keep making miracles happen with them.

Doesn’t have a left back? He had Barisic, we have Robbie Fraser, use Davies.

And Raskin and Sterling.

That’s his problem, Sima and McCausland are our best options.

Bewildering team selections and subs recently, but that interview was another level. We didn't deserve to win the game and there were no clearances off the line by their defence Phil!

Don't lower yourself to telling white lies to cover for the squads lack of nerve. We have watched this slow motion car crash many times before.

So what about his tactics and style of play?

Goldson hoofing 70 yard diagonals.

60 yards between CDM and CAM

are we a pressing team

High intensity.

the team has no structure and shape and that is all on him. That’s the first thing any coach does then he gets the players to fit that.

Think that’s a bit harsh. He showed he wants us to be a high intensity pressing team.

And that’s why he likes to rotate the squad to keep them fresh.

And he showed he can get us well organised.

But this is a squad he’s inherited. Not moulded.

So many players in their 30s. So few athletic players. He’s talked about players not being fit and being able to play with the intensity he wants twice a week.

The calibre of player we will sign in Summer will be completely different.

The profile will be young and athletic.

Too many players out of position. Lawrence is NOT a #8. Sterling is NOT a left-back. Silva is NOT a left-winger.

I'm not defending these players, but at least play them where they belong.

When?

Well organised - we are absolutely awful out of possession.

We had no money in January and front loaded for Diomande.

The board are currently undergoing a massive cost cutting exercise.

We weren't the best team, we weren't better than we were at Ross County and we don't have any structure.

Dundee could have won that game. I'm not sure what he's watching.

Keep hearing that it's the same players who are letting us down. Long termers like Tav and Goldson definitely do at times but tonight was a complete lack of cutting edge, imagination, quality/ability up front (take your pick) and most of those players have been here less than 2 years. Some of that is on Clement although he doesn't have many options to be fair to him. In hindsight his starting team up top was poor if we're being honest.

No idea what the plan was, just fucking long balls up to no one all night

Said before if we’re doing that I don’t know why we never just throw Souttar up top to cause some actual problems in the air. Especially near the end of the game, limping to a 0-0 when we should be throwing the kitchen sink at it

Everybody said at the time the Diomande signing made no sense, unless the guy came in and was a world beater it was always going to bite him, a massive chunk of the summer budget gone already

2 wins from 8 is shocking but the performances are even more worrying, outplayed by Ross County & Dundee deserved a point tonight.

Well-organized teams do the basics right. Like passing.

Well-organized teams don't stick with outswing corners that do nothing.

Are we fuck well-organized.

Well organised teams don’t cut through teams like paper when the scissors start to glide. There was more than one occasion tonight where if the final ball was better then Dundee were in and basically unopposed.

Ironically corners looked like the most likely way we were going to score tonight.Vice captain actually finding the target twice through header.

Tbh, we look lost without the kid. I think he is much better than some posters think.
