Rain only forecast for Glasgow?

about to set off for 5 hour drive from England so fking hope not !

Was more of in case Ross County were travelling down today which could be an issue. But hopefully they're already in Glasgow, just seen a few images of the A9 and it looks pretty fucking horrendous.

A massive section of the a9 is shut due to fallen trees and they aren't sure when it will get reopened.

Google maps is estimating 4h40 via the A82, but I expect they'll have travelled yesterday.

Have you ever driven the a82?

With it being a 7:45 kick off there’s a possibility they travelled down today.

Not the full length of it. I'd be very surprised if they travelled down on the day of the game though particularly given the forecast.

Yesterday must have been some shift for them up and down that wing in that wind, that’s probably why both tired, they should be fine to start tomorrow if the gaffer wants them In.

He might decide to keep them fresh for the weekend not risk injury and go with wright and matondo  we’ll find out about 18.45 the morra night.  Whatever the starting 11 we should be good enough to see off Ross county lets be honest they’re fucking rank.

I like the fact we have a settled team and chopping and changing does no one any good.
Whatever the opposition is. Let’s be honest a 20yr old professional athlete should be able to run about a few hours a week.

Yup would understand the manager leaving him out to not risk injury before the weekend but not buying into he needs rest cause his poor wee legs lol

Id normally like a settled team but the way our luck with injuries is just now I wouldn’t be against wright starting tonight.

How naive is that

I used to cycle 6 miles to work, do my shift cycle home then  go to training that included a 5k run, then circuit training  then finish if with 45 minutes of 5 asides that’s was twice a week then the other two days after work I played 5’s at the pits then would play 11’s on the Saturday, total different level of intensity obviously but you’d expect a 20 year old professional athlete to be able to play 3 hours of football a week.

Doubt has been cast over Rangers’ clash with Ross County tonight as the Staggies are currently travelling through torrid winter conditions this afternoon.

The Highland side have NOT stayed overnight in Glasgow, meaning they are en route to Ibrox on the day of their meeting with Philippe Clement's side. That will see them have to fight through "heavy snow" according to NW Trunk Roads – who work on behalf of Transport Scotland – with six gritters in situ up and down the wintery A9 roads right now.

Traffic is at a "standstill" too with the A9 closed at Drumochter. Resources are stretched to the limit as workers try to clear snow in a bid to get vehicles through. But with kick-off at 7:45pm tonight, there will be anxious glances at watches throughout the day as Derek Adams' men try to make the game with Rangers. NW say they "are advising to avoid the route as much as possible and delay travel". Currently, Google Maps has the journey time at 4hrs 45 minutes.

But that isn't accounting for additional delays – which are likely – and rush hour traffic which the bus is primed to hit. There are yellow wind, rain and snow warnings in certain areas of the country.
