We played a very solid Benfica team to the absolute end despite our injuries. if we go in to this tie with a fully fit squad, we probably qualify but it wasn’t to be. Cantwell and Roofe didn’t look sharp and missing Sima, Cortes and Danilo was a bit too much for us to overcome. The players didn’t bottle it or give up.
