Just perpetuating the narrative so that Morelos, no matter how he behaves, will still be targeted. He's a genuine talent, wether he scores or not. If the refs in Scotland weren't completely inept fucking shitebags and/or catholics then there would be no story here.

I can just about understand the part in bold if you've seen an incident once, live at the game and you can't be 100% certain. However if you're writing a piece then you would think the fucking very least you would do is watch said incident one or more times to give your piece a bit more credibility. Therefore he's either not bothered to do his research properly or he's being deliberately mischievous. I think I know what one I would choose! The challenge was utterly appalling yet he is implying it might not have even been a foul! There was a real chance of him being put on the sidelines for a long long time. And not only was the guy not booked Morelos bloody was for his reaction.

A lot of Morelos' actions have been naive, silly and infuriating but out of them all I can understand a reaction like that to such a tackle. It's the Ufa ones I just can't get my head around when he gets involved in nothing incidents.

Out of all the things English could talk about though I do find his subject choice rather interesting. There are so many things he could write about. It's also ironic that he done a piece on the thumb recently and literally brushed off merely a few of his (many) misdemeanors in one sentence whilst gushing him with praise for the most part. Why not write a 'Can the thumb be tamed' piece? Or a legoheid piece? Or a Boyata piece? Did we have one for McGinn or Shinnie last season, the two most booked players in the league? Maybe i've missed them.

Morelos is far from perfect but everything and anything he does is massively blown out of proportion. Even before a ball is kicked that's all they talk about. He's been tarred with this brush and will never shake it off. It's also pretty clear that there seems to be a special, separate set of rules for Morelos compared to everyone else. No one is saying he hasn't made mistakes but he's still pretty young and he will mature. Gerrard being here is massive in that respect IMO. I think Gerrard is doing a great job. Some managers would have thrown him under the bus, especially with some of the leading questions the press have been asking of late. They've been gagging for a bite, a reaction, a headline. Thankfully Gerrard is too wise to all of that.............

Tarriers know Morelos is a significant asset, on and off the field, for Rangers Football Club and their fans as well as their tarrier cohorts in the media will do everything to undermine him and the club. That is a biased article that doesn’t explain the entire facts regarding Morelos. Yes , he can be a hothead and at times needs to reign it in, but also he is being failed by referees. They constantly miss fouls on Morelos which then cause him to react. Players aren’t blind to this , so see it as a green light to be overly aggressive to Morelos in the hope to wind him up. But no, the media only peddle Morelos is a hothead.

I was thinking the same myself. I think the club should have the right to reply to that article. Morelos is building his own brand and articles like this without facts damage that brand and his player worth. The guy can play but he gets frustrated with the officials, who book him for fouls that opposition players get away with. I think level5 need to give him some positive PR before the mud being thrown at him sticks.

The guy knows he is being treated unfairly, by both opposition players and official, so it going to be hard for him not to react when the rules of the game are being abused to Rangers detriment.

Imho, I think our captain should speak out more for him on the pitch to ensure fouls against him are recognised by officials, hopefully he will then be able to deal with his frustration appropriately.

He misses chances aye, but his hold up and link up play is absolutely outstanding. He brings players into the game and we are a poorer side with the wee guy out the side than in it.

The narrative continues, Morelos is a dirty player etc.

But the facts speak for themselves, one red card (and a very harsh one at that) in his career, proves this isn't the case.

Morelos needs better protection from the referees as he's often the victim of poor tackles and provocation.

Last year it was Ryan Jack's turn to be unfairly treated by referees and the media, it appears this seaon it's Morelos's turn.
