I think the reason he played tonight was not because he doesn't trust Barisic but because of the opposition. Look at their team and tell me how many of their players fit the description "fucking unit"! We needed someone who could help at corners and who could crunch into tackles...IMO that's why he played. Borna will probably be back for the weekend.

Concerned about Tav. Daniel made Tav look a better defender than he is due to sheer hard work. I would have liked to see Daniel stay however i understand why he wanted to leave to get regular first team football. It's not much to say he was the best of a bad bunch however i did like him a lot. IMO the 3rd goal v Rapid sumed up everything about him. He's got some engine on him.
Good luck to him and i hope it works out.

As always, it looks stunning. It's a credit to the grounds staff.
However i am a little concerned. The player who twisted his ankle yesterday did it because he stepped onto the artificial turf that runs next to the dugout side of the pitch.
Surely they could have extended the turf right up to the edge of the technical area? There's a good 2ft there. I'd hate something like that to happen to Murphy etc.
Do folks thing they would have looked at it today?

I really like Kamara however in almost every game he has 1 pass that almost fucks us. Today there was another pass when he was 30 yards from goal which he was lucky as the attacker intercepted it...but as i say, 99% of the time he's Rolls Royce stuff.
