His exact phrase was he requires us to be a 'strong second'.   Not on tonights performance we are not.  Nor for that matter the performances and results so far this season.    Thing is though sacking Warburton is probably not affordable so we are stuck with this either until his contract is up or unless Warburton himself comes to be persuaded that he is not able to deliver for Rangers.    We are in no-mans land until the end of the season - either a transformation of the team takes place and we get 2nd and build from there or we do not and its effectively a wasted season with no worthwhile development to indicate that next season will see a vast improvement.  

We do not need a football analyst, a suave media talker, a training specialist.   We need a football manager.  One who knows what to do to get a lot more games won than the current manager.

Time is up for Mark.

He won't change our system and the players we have aren't good enough to play it. Every team in the division gives us a hard time. Hearts are really fucking poor yet  beat us comfortably.

Mark won't be sacked, but it looks like it'all be a real fight for top three.
