He obviously got a bollocking for circus football yesterday.

I feel there’s definitely a great player in there but he needs to be much more disciplined. We need to play him  in the middle spraying passes, not on the wing trying to skin fullbacks.

Feel like we missed a opportunity yesterday to give him a shot in that middle role with Aribo missing out. I’d still like to see him in there think he could work very well but hope we don’t see him out on the right again we’re as good as a man down with him out there.

Agreed, think we have to remember that he’s playing out of position. However, that’s no reason for some of his play yesterday could barely take simple touches of the ball in the first half. Thought he was ok in the second half.

 unfortunately I'm not that funny. After that he played very well when he got back in the team.

I initially wanted him sold in the summer but he started to prove there was a player in there at the beginning of season but he's gone right off it again.

Said previously on this thread that you can see how he's 100% committed, always wants the ball and doesn't hide even when things aren't going right for him, which is why I like him, but yesterday it was like he was trying too hard and nothing came off for him at all.

Amazing how he goes from hero to zero on this forum every other week.

He'll know himself that his consistency has to improve but hes definitely not a winger, and the way Gio sets up the two of the three forwards are more or less wingers now or they have definitely been told to hug the touchline more. 

He improved when he went central but don't think he merited MOTM.

I'm no sure he improved at all yesterday. I don't see the fascination with him and never have but it's just my opinion.

He has a poor touch, often costs him. Has zero pace. Often struggles taking the ball into feet with his back to goal. His dead ball ability doesn't do much either. Those are pretty important attributes required for a number ten. He can't play deeper in midfield because he is useless defensively off the ball.

To balance it, I think he has good vision even though he often overhits passes and is technically decent with both feet. He feels like a player who requires time and space to make something happen which he won't get in our league. These are all things people have said since day dot and I'm not sure he's improved in any those departments. His biggest issue is consistency and when going for a title you can't afford to carry a player as often as he does. 

He also got the same said about him at Anderlecht and still does for the national team. I'll always support someone wearing our badge but there are better options than him and he is 100 percent someone we wouldn't miss for a decent fee. Probably to a league where he may have the time and space required to shine.

His lack of pace and fluctuating form is annoying but I will say that his name interview yesterday was one of the best I’ve seen from a Rangers players in a while. Understands the game, wants to improve and spot on attitude. Need to make better decisions sometimes on the park and have more returns still.
