Is this the same player who didn't want to leave because his wife had her own business up here and he wouldn't get the same money elsewhere. Don't blame him TBF either

No he’s a different player

Imagine banishing a guy who showed unbelievable loyalty for calling out his shit team mates after getting thrashed by celtic. The board make some strange decisions.

No surprise Dingwall was out the next day telling everybody he had been fit to play but pretending to be injured either

Because see when players fucked off and shafted us, he stayed, fucked his own career in doing so while so called Rangers men fucked off, some spent their nights arguing with fans, some made up lies about their reasoning, he stayed, in his best years.

We’ll need to agree to disagree. He chose the best option for himself and his family at the time. Total naivety to suggest it was purely about Rangers interests.

He wasn’t getting a club or wage packet as large as us while remaining in Scotland, which is what his family need was at the time.

Are guys like McCulloch or Little in the same legends boat?

I like him, and don’t want to get into criticising him. Good player, good guy, but not a legend for me.

To me legends are made on the field of play. We need another word to describe people who's behaviour towards Rangers is/was admirable and deserving of thanks and respect. Not sure what that word is? Lee Wallace proved to be a good guy for Rangers in a time of need and should have been treated by the club better than the way he was.

He’d easily have got as good wages in England.

Had McCulloch not been at the end of his career yes, and Little wasn’t actually very good as much as I like him

Hardly risked his career. He was very well paid and turning up for work everyday at one of the best training facilities in the uk.

Point being we were in the third division, he was far far too good for that at the time.

Don't get the downplaying of the guys sacrifice.

He could have played in the EPL or abroad but stuck by us when bigger names and so called Rangers men fucked us over.

More of a legend than Greggs or Davis that's for sure.

Agree 100% he sacrificed a lot but slagging off Greggs is out of order imo, perfectly good pastries.

And people blame Naismith and Whittaker for leaving with thanks like this

Think it was more that they could’ve honoured contracts and then got us a fee more than moving on that was most people’s issue

Struggle to see that tbh.

How? He was the best LB in Scotland before we were demoted and could easily have went to a Lower half EPL side.

He was 24/25 and still improving ad a footballer.

Easily could have played at a higher level, eventually more money and furthered his career. Ridiculous to say otherwise.

It’s debatable if he was the best in the league tbh. Might have got a game for relegation fodder, but he was nowhere near mid table EPL level.

All hypotheticals and opinions around what he could have done elsewhere, but he was captain for some of our most humiliating results in history, and was towing a caravan by the time we reach the premier league again. Think he’s being way over hyped.
