Not expecting him to play tbh but i suspect they might just have him in and around squad.

Clarke would be nuts not to get him and around the squad just now. Options at centre back are chronic. Even if King’s not thought of as a starter yet, will do Scotland, King and us a lot of good just having him involved at international level.

As long as he doesn’t get injured.

No he doesn’t. His pace has gotten him/us out of a hole more than once since he started playing regularly.

He seems a great kid and a great reader of the game with multiple attributes that are advanced for 18 years old.

I’ve noticed him get done for pace a few times now albeit usually he’ll get the slide tackle in before someone’s completely got away from him.

Hes been really tore a new 1 in the champions league. At fault for probably 3/4 against liverpool and 2 tonight.

hopefully he learns from these mistakes. Crazy the stick Tillman gets at only a year older and similar full team starts

Said this at the game. So true.

Thought he lacked confidence tonight, didn’t play many forward passes, could be down to us losing the goal so early.

He is being asked to do a lot more than what he is ready for and without an experienced CB alongside, people need to get off his case, he is low priority on things wrong at the club.

Still not seeing it with him tbh. Totally exposed at this level, and don’t think he’s been great domestically either.

He should be able to evolve and make mistakes domestically. There should be enough quality in the side to cover for him and win against most sides domestically.

In an ideal world he doesn't get in the eleven against these top sides.

People want us to give youth a chance, then you have to allow them to have spells where they are not as good as our other players.

Same will happen with Lowry.

People expecting youth players to come into the team and play consistently like experienced pros are just being unrealistic.

Our club is probably just the type of club with a fan base who will never allow youth players to develop. We will demand the best player always plays, and when one of these goes off form, we will want to spend millions to replace them.

Nothing wrong with that, as long as we accept it and don't constantly moan that we should be developing youth.

He’s 18 , Tillman is 20. Ridvan is 21. Lowry is what age?  There’s 4 that are for the future and also McCann. Think we should look ahead for them then buy better for stability. The older players should be gone after this season. Arfield, Shagger, Davis and the likes. Even Tav.  Time to turn a page here.
