Their forward 3 are far better too though based on what we’ve seen so far :ang:

Yeh. Kyogo definitely is a level above. Not sure that Maeda and Abada are all that great. They just seem to get the ball faster and in space from McGregor, Hatate and O’Riley.

But equally don’t think any of our forward players we’ve signed are better than Kent or Morelos

He shouldn’t have gotten a new deal. He’s slow as a week in jail and is a very negative player these days. He should have been let go and if we wanted a bit part player, use a youth or Lundstram who may not be mikes better but he is more mobile and generally quicker than Jack and can be a goal threat which Jack is never.

Beale tho is hanging him out to dry in games like this when he’s not got the legs anymore. Again another fault we can lay at managers door.

Inb4 @mitre_mouldmaster starts replying to every cunt about the need for homegrown players in the squad.

We should have signed fucking Lewis Ferguson and Doig and probably even that prick Porteous and then we could have fucked off the washed up Ryan Jack.

One of the worst players at the club and there are plenty to choose from.
Slow, as mobile as a sack of fucking tatties and offers nothing.
Complete waste of a fucking wage and jersey.

Plenty of clowns thought he deserved a new deal though  - fucking hopeless

Aberdeen level and that’s all he ever was for me. Never understood what people actually seen in him.

That’s an utterly ridiculous take. Injuries have completely fucked him, but in terms of actual footballing talent he was easily good enough to play for us.

Nonsense.  He was a cracking player for us before injuries.

He really wasn’t. He’s bang average and always has been and that’s the problem with us we continue to build these jobbers into something they’re not.

Tells you all you need to know about the difference between us and them. We had Jack in the same position McGregor was for them. He broke forward, pinged passes all over the park, took responsibility and ran the game in the first half - and I think he is shite btw. But he plays the same way Davis used to for us,  ‘defensive midfielder’ that actually is a playmaker rather than defensive only. Jack could hardly cover ground, hardly passed the ball forward, cant run for shit. In fairness, Lundstram is the same when he’s in there but he’s been the better of the two in the last 3 weeks.

Sick of this safety first approach from the shitebag manager in domestic football.

The one player we've never come close to replacing is prime 2nd time around Steve Davis.
