Ref should be looking at that again on the monitor. If there's enough doubt for VAR to be asking the questions then the ref should take another look. I'm aware that the remit is "clear and obvious" and VAR probably doesn't interfere if the ref doesn't give the foul but in game changing moments like that I think the ref should have the option to go to the monitor.

The problem isn't VAR itself its how it's managed. No official should be scared to make a decision, it should be for black and white incidents. Chopping off a legitimate goal seems a pretty clear cut opportunity for correction.
