We cant do the simple things right

I get why they struggle because they aren't very good Ben Davies biggest club PNE souttar free from hearts wright free from Aberdeen dowell free from Norwich Lawrence free from Derby. When was the last time we spent a fee on a player that came from playing weekly elsewhere into our starting 11.

We've turned into a washed up retirement home for English players on the decline whilst paying a fortune for them.

We also paid Aberdeen money for Scott Wright.

Was it no just a swap for mccrorie. Makes it even worse if no paying money for a squad player of Aberdeen. What chance we got

They can all play football, well most of them at least.

Players who have played with Lundstram rave about his technical ability etc.

The elephant in the room is how they’re being coached and what sort of team the manager wants us to be.

Or their mentality, when they were scudding hearts at home, and going unbeaten at the start of clements run they could do all the basics

When the heat was on and they were expected to challenge for the title they absolutely lose their bottle and shit themselves

We can say it's the coach, but the same players have did this under 4 different coaches now

Another cop out mate.

It’s not mentality when we’re hoofing the ball long into channels gifting possession to them over and over.

It clearly is, we've seen this team take the ball, we've seen this team tear opponents apart, we've seen this team play nice one touch football

What has suddenly stopped them doing it? And why do they suddenly stop doing it in big games or when the pressure is on them to win and the expectation is high

The players hoof the ball into the channels because they are fucking shitebags who want rid of it asap because they want to pass the buck to someone else, they lose their first touch because they are shit scared of someone pressing them and are used to having hours of time instead

Everytime we lose a game badly (and not down to bad luck) is when teams get in our face and give us a battle

These utter shitebags only like it when theres nothing to play for or they arent expected to do anything

Fucking bin the lot of them

Yeah we’ve seen it under 4 managers now when things aren’t going your way get the ball out wide to the wingbacks and just keep hitting balls into the box that our opponents just head away with ease.

If 4 different mangers experience the same thing with the same core of players it shows it’s not the manager.

This squad revert to type over and over again. It needs gutting.

What manager instructions are Lundstram, Lawrence, Barisic etc following when jog about half arsed and can’t track runners into the box despite previous warnings?

It's a wee bit more complicated than that but aye essentially. We paid 200k for him but Aberdeen also paid us money for McCrorie. McCrorie was already out on loan to Aberdeen and had agreed a deal to buy him at the end of the season (Wright came in the winter transfer window).

I’m not doubting it might be a combination, but the general instruction must have been to bypass the midfield and play long.

Absolutely must have been.

So you want Clement to lace up his boots and do Lundstrams job and actually put in a shift?

These players are a disgrace and until they go we win no league. Said it for a few years now and look what's happened...

Change the manager all you want, this won't go away until the bottlers are fucked out.

I’m not in favour of changing the manager (yet).

It surely can’t be in question that the style of play is abysmal though.

Not one cunt can surely argue we’ve been playing good football or that it’s just down to the players.

We need to win midfield battle to hide the other sins in our game.

Dept for Dept, they are superior, except for Goalie.

They are by far a superior footballing side. They have a clear identity, a clear style, and they know when they play us that harassing us causes us to panic and make mistakes or go long. In short, they have our fucking number.

What do we do about that? For a start, out number them in the middle. Make it a fkn battle in there as opposed to the free ride they get just now. If I watched them execute a 3rd man running drill once, with us not dealing with it, I watched it 30 times.

I'm fkn appalled at our lack of fight, guile and street smarts in these games. They are a yard quicker than we are. And that's just embarrassing.  Being on the front foot makes you are a yard quicker than being on back foot. That tells you everything.

As for going forward, we have a Cup Final. We need to be more aggressive in the front foot sense. And we need to go and win the midfield by outnumbering them. Not just that though, we need those numbers to go and impact their direct opponent.

Clement needs to try something different. We can't outplay them, they are better than we are. Harsh fkn reality.

This squad of players as bad as they are got back into a title race we all believed was dead and buried.....by hook or by crook we got to the top of the league....three games later we choked at home to Motherwell only to be given a lifeline again the next day.....what has followed speaks volumes for a squad of players who simply cannot handle the pressure....nervous energy is the reason they are incapable of doing the basics....fucking ridiculous that we have gifted that shitey celtic team another title....get rid of the supposed experience in the ranks and sign young hungry players....I swear I will cry if Lundstram gets another contract and Tav is still captain next year:headwall:

Simple facts team full of rejects or other countries journey men.

We would be better off with scottish journey men and or scottish players in tranfers for pittance of what we pay others.

And this is the issue. Folk just want to keep chopping and changing managers but it's time to face the elephant in the room.

These players are bottle merchants who think winning a sole title 3 years ago and a cup or 2 means job done.

After Gerrard fled it needed gutted but was left to go stale and each manager tried to go with the same formula and players. These players will get you binned.

It's a pity it wasn't Gio or latterly Gerrard who got the war chest to spend and rebuild with instead of the imbecile that is Beale who did set us back years with his big money signings.

My fear is we don't have that kind of spending in is this summer and even if we did we would need every signing to click and from the get go.

It's not even the players fault, it's our board of directors. We had one brief season where we'd brought in players capable of performing to win a league. That fucking gimp Ross Wilson blamed Gio but it's clear as day our recruitment is shite, whether it's the DoF or the board it's all at board level.

The 5 month period when Lundstram looked decent was because he had players like Kamara and Jack on form beside him.

How have 4 rangers managers been unable to coach lundstram ? Don’t think it’s the coaching that’s the problem
