He's never a liability when he plays and neither was Weir at his age and he looks after himself, although the injuries are creeping up. Otherwise you end up having to have back ups for back ups and a bloated squad. 2 starting CB, one back up and one who’s come through the youth set up should really be all we need. If Davies and Goldson are potentially on their way out and King might be looking for a loan then it makes sense with only Cordoba linked so far and Souttar our only other option.
