shoo keevins tripping over his words blaming the alloa player and how the ref didnt punish him im sure he'll remember such things when a mhank does a similar tackle in the next few games

    how quickly they forget

You know, I was deliberating whether to give this a miss tonight even though I expected their fans to be on whinging (albeit managed by the show production team), however so glad I gave it a try as Keevin’s is sounding genuinely sick how things have panned out re their injuries and is being very disrespectful re Alloa. I would like Andy Halliday push back against his hurting mind you but I’ve said before that thin veneer of parity of commentary is definitely ever decreasing…

Just for the greetin of course.

It’s really the only time it’s bearable, or acceptable to listen to it imo, however it now appears the norm that the narrative of how the conversation will go is manipulated by the production team and somehow it will focus on some form of negativity towards us:-)…

    Don't think I’m even joking…

Clancy is dodgy as fuck mate the rest are just incompetent shite.

The game at parkhead was blatant cheating and he allowed broon and Hayes to bully and cheat their way through the match at Aberdeen

Totally agree, that game went beyond incompetence.
As well as the incidents (many of them) highlighted on the thread from the Game at Parkhead, your post just reminded me that he actually booked Brown twice that game but magically forgot about the first booking then denied it post match. I remember him booking one of our players at the same time as Brown, he actually raised the card twice, bizarre he got away with that…

    I think this is embarrasing

I don’t subscribe to any referee conspiracy nonsense but as I said previously, Clancy crossed the line.
We all have the right to our own opinion, my opinion is formed from that old firm game.
Hard to imagine anyone watching the numerous outrageous decisions made by him on that day without saying there was a bias in his decision making (unconscious or not).
Personally, after watching the game over that day I think he knew exactly what he was doing and he is not to be trusted to officiate with parity…

I took his speech to mean that games would go ahead after the 17th with or without crowds. Doncaster cannot possibly say there will be absolutely no postponements for any reason at all, after all he cant control the weather for one thing. Daft as the cunt is even he knows he cant guarantee no postponements whatsoever.

Any credible person wouldn’t try to renege on that speech but they seem to make things up as they go along if it benefits a certain team it would appear…

They are going down the road we did with Pedro. Bringing in players the manager knows with not a thought giving if they could adapt to Scottish football.

Definitely BK, funnily enough I seem to remember how much this was pointed out at the time by SSB, but on this occasion it’s all but a master stroke. Surprised none of the presenters (by that I mean no affiliation to them) have not rounded on this, again put this down to being ‘over subjective’ and non partisan, because if I can clearly see this surely they too must?…

 I'm not calling conspiracy as I've no doubt we were probably in favour of it. Definitely suits that style though, run themselves into the ground and then change half the team to do the same.

Just seems shambolic that the rules can be changed halfway through the season.

Yeh, pretty much agree. I am also surprised that it was allegedly 75% vote for it. Apart fro them and ourselves I really don’t see why any of the smaller teams in the league (basically them all) who don’t have the same quality in depth of squad would be in favour of handing over such an advantage…

It's pointless trying to win this sort of thing with the bbc because it's paid for by taxation ... what commercial station could alienate half its audience for 10 years?

All the more infuriating when regardless of content or editorial agenda we are paying their wages and financing the nonsense the BBC has become (assuming you pay for a tv license that is🙄)…

Current dispute is longer than that. I'm sure it goes back to when we played hibs in the championship and gollum reported something about the fans that was false. His press privileges at Ibrox were then revoked and the bbc decided they would no longer send reporters to Ibrox.

Yes I remember that, a great performance and really enjoyable game, there was a real feel good factor afterwards. I remember watching McLaughlin in equal measures of amazement and disgust bypassing the great football and reporting on some alleged non-incident in a car park I think. I was in mixed company and one of the non Rangers supporting lads even commented how ridiculous and out of order he was…

I'm not disagreeing with that , tarriers have history of getting games postponed to suit them, but to say the snp brought these restrictions in because they had injuries and players out with covid is just ridiculous.

Agree with this mate but you can bet every one of their MSP supporters (literally the majority imo) would have picked up the phone to her or her office following the statement release by them on the postponement to try and apply the pressure to do so…

Dont believe a word of it myself just a convenient narrative put out to cover where his true allegiances lie, although how effective this is may be open to opinion at the very least.

Couldn't possibly have allegations of bias levelled against snyde could they.:mutley:

Fair point, next thing you know he’ll be presenting celtic tv, but that could never happen could it🙄

  12. 13 minutes ago, Paisley Blue Loyal said:

Reckon if celtic came out publicly and said they were considering playing their home games down in England until such times that restrictions were lifted it would put The cat amongst the pigeons right enough given who The Scottish Government’s core voters are.

You can bet that their many MSP supporters are applying as much pressure to have their stadium filled on top of the upcoming rugby conundrum…

Been thinking about this a lot over the last week or so. We should be out of sight and only have ourselves to blame. God knows how many points they picked up through Nov & Dec through lucky breaks.

Undoubtedly, however no point wasting time over their good fortune. I am genuinely excited to see what 3 weeks worth of coaching from GVB will deliver, new signings arriving or not. I think we all should be, exciting times ahead JM…

No striker in this league playing now has got near the levels Alfie has performed at.

He's 9 goals off of the uefa cup/europa league goal scoring record.

As recent games would suggest I believe he will thrive under the stewardship of GVB and Makaay is bound to have a positive influence on his development…

All these pundits have Kyogo & Boyle in their teams of the year, yet Morelos has scored just as many goals in the league.

Plus Morelos has assisted in 4 goals in the league…

There is either confirmation bias from the many followers of them in MSM against Morelos (and Rangers in general tbh) or a strange over attempt to be over subjective from Rangers orientated journalists/ pundits.
It’s all just unwanted noise to me these days, I rarely listen to, read or take notice of any ‘football’ articles in Scotland, I form opinion and make decisions on form, skill, ability and predictions from my personal experience, no interest in what any clown on tv, radio or print has to say on the national sport these days…
