Confusion Over Management Team's Future

Sky sources understand Mark Warburton, David Weir and Frank McParland "categorically deny" quitting Rangers despite the club saying they have resigned.

The Ibrox club announced manager Warburton, his assistant Weir and head of recruitment McParland had had their resignations accepted at 9pm on Friday night.

They also said U20s coach Graeme Murty would take charge for Sunday's Scottish Cup fifth-round tie with Morton, which is live on Sky Sports.

Rangers say Warburton intimated to the board earlier this week he wished to resign yet the Englishman conducted his pre-match media conference as normal on Friday afternoon. The club then made its announcement a few hours later, saying they had agreed to waive their right to compensation should the trio join another club.

As much as I want him to go, if the club have stabbed them in the back in anyway at all here, I want the board gone.  Who would ever want to work in those conditions.  Let's hope that's not the case.

Well said Goat.

Standards need to be maintained
