First couple of games he played he bossed the midfield and looked a far better player than his price tag suggested.

Don’t agree that he bossed it but I thought he played well leading up to the 3-2 game in March, after that he was shocking though, just like the rest.

Never seen a collapse quite like that after losing to them tbh.

Waste of money. Can’t see us ever getting our £750k back for him.

If he goes down to Sunderland for a year and does well, we should easily be making a profit on him. Look at the likes of Waghorn etc.

He's the kind of player who'll be well suited to lower league English football, as he's got the physique and is better with less time on the ball

To be honest, while it’s good to see Gerrard isn’t afraid to get rid of players he doesn’t think are good enough, there’s plenty of players I would like to see shown the door before docherty. Even if we’re just talking about the midfield would much rather see the back of Halliday and Docherty kept as a squad player.

Surprised SG doesn't like Docherty to be honest. Plenty of things you can criticise him for but certainly not a lack of fitness and/or effort and those seem to be high priorities for our management team.

So spend 800k on  kid with rough edges and bin him off.  That'll stop 10 in a row

The alternatives are to play somebody who’s not good enough or have him warm the bench.

Best he gets loaned out and hopefully gets some first team football. If he comes back a better player it will be worth it.

Thats what teams do with prospects mate,  loan them out happens all the time ?

I really hope if works for him. Nothing better than a youngster who is one of us making it mate

You can't bring him on when he's somewhere else. The loan team might bring hom on it's true but more than likely not.

Stay at Rangers and be COACHED to become a better player.  If he doesn't improve after that - get rid.

Shame.

Would have been a decent move all around.

? We need to try and get players out on loan at decent levels instead of diddy Scottish teams.

Even our youth team has to be aiming at getting guys on loan in the english leagues instead of lower Scottish.
