A further point, the initial FOI request from Club 1872 was met with a response that the council had no correspondence on the matter. Once challenged they have now released over 100 pages of information.

Funny that.

Have Private Eye ran any of this in their Rotten Boroughs section?

I know we have a few SNP guys on here , everyone is entitled to vote who they like, I’d love to hear the input of these guys with these new revelations .

I vote Conservative.

I'm not entirely sure you can make the assertions made in the statement based on the emails presented. I would reserve judgement until i've seen the entire cache of documents.

Politics is more than football, other parties are as bad, blah blah blah if they even respond.

Said that to a guy in work yesterday.

The Catholic church and their care home scandals are unfolding, high profile celebrities are being outed and convicted etc.

I hope, pray and believe that in my lifetime that abortion of a club and those who corruptly abused their positions and influence to protect or support it are brought to justice and ruined.

I'm still hoping Rod Stewart gets outed before his death, no one can convince me he's normal.

Many, many moons ago ... I happened to be in conversation with Brian Auger from the band Brian Auger and the Trinity and he was telling me that Long John Baldry was having a house warming party and he showed the quest list to his mother ... on seeing Rod Stewart and Elton John's names on the list ... his mum's eyes opened wide and she let out a gasp of horror ..... Fucking Rod Stewart ... well he's definitely scratched .... bloody poofter.

Long John sighed ... let out a small whimper and replied coyly .... "Mmmm .. is he now?" ..... His mum was obviously oblivious to his preferences ..... :p:

So you may well have your wish mate.
