Kent Charged

Recommended Posts

Our players need to learn to box clever. Stand on feet, stand on toes, have a nibble at shins...elbows and pushes to the face are gonna be cited every day of the week. Morelos and Kent only have themselves to blame in these cases.

There's not much point in waiting for the Rangers Chairman, CEO or Board to react to the one-sided adjudication of the game and its related incidents.  They are not up for that sort of challenge.    They sit way too far above that and have bigger, grander, wider, altogether more esoteric and important things to deal with.   In their minds that is.   The gritty reality of things is that there is no influence whatsoever that they can apply to ensure that we are officiated on a level playing field and patently fair basis.   They (the Board) has given up on trying to obtain some sort of fair justice out of the SPFL and SFA.   They know full well that after a week or so of silence from them there will be other stories for the punters and media to tangle about and the incidents from the OF game will be quietly swept away to a distant part of corporate memory.  The Board are not interested in engaging on such mundane matters.

As for the ban.   Ah well.   First offence.    He'll be gone next season so he can join the recent ranks of those who'd had enough of what was being dished out at Scottish football and we'll all post pictures of his swipe along with Moshni's.

The questions for next season is...…...what does Gerrard do to get the sort of response from players that deals with the Brown type of wind up without getting sent off.  And which players does he bring in to do that job?

The anger should be directed towards the completely different standard we get refereed to.

Morelos deserves the ire of the fans because he has had ample opportunity to learn and hasn’t been able to. He reacted. He got sent off. The game became significantly harder as a result. He got his 4 th red card and is banned for 4 games

Kent has no track record, he didn’t get sent off and he almost pulled a result out the bag and was, in Gerrards view, the best player on the pitch. His reaction looks like getting him a 2 game ban

Its pretty clear why the reactions are different

However in the interests of uniting the fans, unite behind the fact we are the most ill disciplined team in the league according to the stats and there is still pressure being applied that we are treated preferentially.

So his hearing isn't until Thursday, meaning he can play tomorrow, then his ban will kick in forcing him to miss the Motherwell game then the first game of the split, likely to be against the scum. How convenient.

Not even close to their best player or best player on the pitch.

Cunts love a wind up at our expense though. Oh the banter..

Not even close to being there best player. getting alfredo sent off it all it takes though - you are a star in scotland
