Popular Post SwallowsHisOwnSpunk 7,815
Some of our fans go on and on about loyalty and commitment to Rangers and act like a little bitch when people leave us/don’t sign new contracts/don’t work out for us etc… giving absolutely horrendous abuse directed towards individuals for it. Yet when someone who has stayed with us stepped up during a mess of a time, who whilst never being anywhere near good enough still tried his best for the club finally does leave he receives disgusting needless abuse. They then howl to the moon when people (like Joe Worrall) comment on it. Its embarrassing you demand loyalty and respect but think that’s a one way street and give none back. Murty’s leaving it’s probably no great loss but how about stop acting like a fucking Ned, thank him for his service (if you can’t manage that just ignore it) and move on. rangersross 6,530
I respect him for stepping up and taking on a job that was always bigger than him. We were in a terrible place at the time and good options were few and far between. I’m not crazy about some of the things I’ve heard about him during his time in charge - but, again, I think a lot of that is pretty much inevitable when you put someone who isn’t ready into a position that stressful. ayrshireranger, Bad Robot, HG5 and 1 other
Moody Blue 9,409
Need massive improvement in Academy players starting to step up to the first team and influencing that squad. Sick of filling the squad with has beens or never will be’s on large wages that then get released from contract costing us money. Murty was part of the problem. Good luck to him but glad he’s gone. falkirkNS, mearns loyal and KeyserSoze
esquire8 43,013
Genuinely what was that role he had anyway? Head of Elite Academy Development? Like he was Mulhollands boss? Fuck knows, anyway see ye later.
Bad Robot 21,332
Good luck Murty as you should never have been pushed into a position you weren’t up to but a position not many of us would have refused ayrshireranger

Mark Spalding is intermediate head and then there's another group beneath that. They all report to Mulholland who is Academy head.

Johnstone Burgh 1,642
Should never have been at the club in any capacity after his spell in charge. No loss at all.
