I never get any fear when I see either of them on the team sheet. Playing is the best way of learning. Plus there must be a path for youth to make the starting XI. Too much hype about Bassey. It's hard to praise him when he had sweet fuck all to do last night. He did make a nice darting run in the first half. When put under a little pressure against Hearts, he was poor. He is, however, a very good attack-minded left-back. Balogun and more so Helander all day long at CH when fit. Our defence has looked more solid in the last 6 games than it has all season and, whilst I appreciate the tactical adjustments that have been made, it is equally true that Bassey has been integral to that solidity I can be a negative fucker at times but some people’s capacity to find darkness in every positive is remarkable. sassaaaa 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Every one of that backline has had minor fuck ups since Gio came but some on here just like to give Bassey stick. Its fuckin laughable that some think Balogen is walking right back in this team. We have conceded zero goals since hes been playing in a position thats alien to him , even Goldson is looking better with him next to him IMO. Did well enough last night though. You're going to get mistakes from an inexperienced youngster playing in a position he isn't used to. There's still some promise there and imo has done really well.
