Popular Post bluenoz 32,502
Take a bow Calvin Bassey. The sheer strength he showed to get that cross in was immense. He is a modern player left back. plymouthranger, BlueKnight87, falkirkNS and 9 others

GaryMc 2,409
He's our best left back by a mile now Might be a bit rough around the edges but he has one thing Borna never really has had and that's genuine fight. Borna is done now when it matters as has been shown too often this season so Bassey needs to stay there and keep developing. falkirkNS

demise 3,718
Fantastic performance and the way he managed 3 players before his cross for Tav was unreal. Tie him up to a long contract now. JograBear, Blumhoilann and Stephenm72
Laudrupsleftfoot 12,257
Can't believe I'm advocating Bassey over Barisic, never in a million years thought that was likely but he's currently far far better. TopCat

Popular Post Colin Traive 23,875
Almost a year ago, we had supporters wanting a group of players kicked out of the club for a Covid breach. We’ve sold one for £12m+ and another has just had another outstanding game against a European giant. Funny old game. The Beast 9,499
The big lad has been immense this season. Better at LB that CB but doesn't let himself down in either position. Power, controlled aggression, good technical ball skills, improving positional play. He's come on leaps and bounds and he's only 22. If you ever watch any of his interviews he's also a humble and likeable guy who has come from a tough background. SIRB_72 4,151
In that second half I was actually most impressed with his reading of situations which is new for him. The manager put him in a position where he could use his physicality to get out and cut those balls across the park out. Bassey though was very good are reading when to go and when to stay slightly more narrow. Another good performance from him and his drive to get that ball into the box for the second was just great. Jimfanciesthedude 25,620
Get the impression he'd run through a brick wall for the club, Then turn round and stomp all over the rubble for being in his way TopCat, Ayrshire Blue and Blumhoilann
