I’m a bit nervous about this game, RSB are the type of team we have struggled to break down this season.  Very organised, strong defensively but also have 2 very good strikers.  Flashbacks to Slavia Prague with the same play acting.

I expect a cagey game but if we’re as good as we were v Dortmund we can get a good result to take to Belgrade.  Can see a 1-1 though.

Any slight win hopefully be good enough as I think we are set to do better away from home...

Doubt Ramsey will play much between now and the end of the season. Incredibly frustrating the money that's been squandered which could have been used elsewhere to strengthen.

Most frustrating thing is if a player of that quality had been available the draws would have been wins.
A complete disaster. Probably too late now even if he can make an appearance or two

I don’t really get why Gio sometimes feels the need to confirm whether certain players will/won’t be starting in his press conferences. I assume he’s just answering honestly and I get it if confirming whether they are in the squad or not but whilst it probably makes little material difference, I’d rather not give away any team planning to the opposition.

Slavia and Malmo should be major object lessons for the team. We can’t screw around passing the ball around in our own end for a half like we did against St. Johnstone and Aberdeen. We  need to get right on top of Red Star and stay there. The thought of going to Belgrade tied or behind and looking at a time wasting bus parking masterclass is not pleasant.

Bit gutted I couldn’t get the time off work for this but hope it’s another great night for all those in attendance.

I’m expecting a tight game, perhaps a bit similar to Legia, but we seem to be a different team in Europe and I’m confident we can get take a lead to Belgrade.
