Philip came to me today and said it was time to go. I looked at him and smiled as I whispered that "I know". 

I then turned and looked behind me, and seen I was asleep. All my family were around me and I could hear them weep. 

I gently touched each shoulder, with Philip by my side. Then I turned away and walked with my Angel guide. 

Philip held my hand, as he lead the way to a world where Kings and Queens are monarchs every day. 

I was given a crown to wear or a 'Halo' known by some. The difference is up here, they are worn by everyone. 

I felt a sense of peace, my Reign had seen its end. 70 years I had served my Country as My Peoples friend. 

Thank you for the years, for all your time and love. Now I am one of two again in our Palace up above.

What a Remarkable woman. All the historic moments she has witnessed alongside the great leaders she has welcomed to our country, truly will never have another monarch like her.

I'm really struggling with the thought of her no longer being our Queen.  My first memories in life are of our neighbours coming into our house to watch her Coronation on our small black & white TV.   We had to close the curtains to see it better.   I've been fortunate enough to have been reasonably close to her on a number of occasions over the years.   I have been lucky to have lived through her entire reign.

Life will never be quite the same.

Looking forward to seeing a portrait of King Charles III above our Captain's peg.

Our Club is about history and tradition.

Jimmy Bell placed the picture of HM The Queen above the Captain's peg, thereby creating a new tradition.

We carry that on...in Her Majesty's and Jimmy Bell's memory.

Personally, I cannot wait for the first 'official' picture of King Charles III. Hope it is in full regalia.

Sheff Weds fan here. I made the (unforgivable) mistake of reading Twitter tonight and it put me into an awful mood. 

I then came across the photo of the Queen’s portrait in the Ibrox changing room and it led me to take a quick glance on here. I ended up reading every single response on this post.

Some of the contributions are quite simply wonderful. 

You should all be proud of yourselves and this magnificent club.

She has been the constant for many of our posters... aside from being just a wonderful lady. We will miss her. Guaranteed.

Was also close to her several times....although she never did quite like tall coppers near her!!

Incredibly sad driving into work this morning listening to the radio stations all dedicating their broadcasts to her. 

Probably hit me harder than I ever thought it would have done tbh, and it’s probably what the cabbie driver in the video above said about her being one of the only constants in most peoples lives.
