Self inflicted he had a go at the player in the 50/50 that led to the goal.Var would have sent him off.

It should have been a sending off instantly it was fucking nasty. Hopefully Mcgregor has a career ending injury

When was the last time they won a game in Europe? I don't think it was in this year.

Correct.

Real Betis back in December 2021.

never mind Champions League, They cannot compete in Europe at any level.

We got more wins in last seasons Euro run than they have in the past 3.

We made it to a European final... best result they've had the past few years was probably when they beat Lazio in 2019, and even then they never made it past last 32 in Europa League.

What's Mcgregors injury? Big boost for us if he's out for a while.

Looks like he twisted his ankle in a follow through tackle, then was limping and hopefully pulled a hamstring trying to catch a player racing away from him.
Next season comeback would be nice.

Kyogo Furuhashi shows class in RB Leipzig vs Celtic injury gesture

KYOGO FURUHASHI showed his class as he comforted RB Leipzig keeper Peter Gulcsi after sustaining an injury blow.

The opposition stopper went down clutching his right leg after landing awkwardly in the first-half of the Champions League clash.

Gulacsi had been under pressure to clear the ball as Kyogo charged down the keeper before the injury problem.

Reo Hatate had looked to finish first-time after the shanked clearance but his effort was weak and cleared from goal.

Play was then stopped with Gulacsi requiring treatment for his injury. And Kyogo was straight over to check on the opposing captain as he checked on the keeper who was in clear discomfort.

Classy Kyogo remained with Gulacsi as he was treated in a sign of respect before quickly moving as a stretcher took the keeper off the pitch.

Celtic fans praised Kyogo for his sporting attitude as viewers commented on the moment on Twitter.

One fan wrote: "Wee Kyogo has to be one of the most sporting footballers in the world.

"Always checking to see if an injured player is ok. He's some Bhoy, Gotta Love that".

Another commented: "Kyogo is such a lovely guy never left that goalkeepers side".

And a third said: "Kyogo showing concern for their keeper, he's such a nice guy man".
