What (who) are we missing?

Recommended Posts

Think it's a bit too soon to panic. That team knew they were shite and tried to park the bus but we still dominated possession and did alright getting two goals.

Guys like Mourinho can make the best teams in the world look average by doing that.

CB, LB, Creative CM, CAM, LW, Striker

That would be enough to see us over until next season if we were actually intent on competing, but even after that you'd need a huge amount in next season which is frustrating

The scary thing is that list is assuming all of our signings are good and every player with doubts over them magically 180's on the last two years

LB / RB(or better cover).

Another CB.

Holding / physical CM.

Creative CAM or 10 behind a striker.

out and out LW , maybe even a RW that can actually dribble against people.

Tall and muscular / physical forward that’s well rounded and good in the air especially.

A goal scorer someone that kills games that are tight or gets hat tricks against shit teams we should be blowing out the water.

Nervous, nervousness restricts play. No pressure on teams like Hibs or Hearts. Nobody expects anything from them so they can turn up in front of 2000/10,000 or so and just play their game. No excuses. Middleton comes on as a kid without the sense to be nervous in front of 49,000 and you see the results.

Windass is without doubt not our level. Morelos might be a player but he needs to get smarter. For us Goldson and MacGregor look like a proper defence, while Murphy and Ejaria looked good in parts. Tav might make an excellent captain. Team need time to come together and I imagine with the last 2 signings able to come in soon we will see much improvement. Not a disaster. Must do better.
