Was thinking of the amount of rebuilding they need to do. Their best player this season is on loan and going back to Southampton, Laxalt is going back too, Ntcham, Eddie and Ajer are probably leaving, Duffy sadly leaving too, Lego muncher hopefully stays. But then they need to invest in at least 1 quality striker, a new goalkeeper, for sure 2 CBs, someone to replace Lego and then probably a winger to replace Elyonoussi. Seems like quite a lot of money. The only way they do this right is if they sell the players who have 12 months deals left and make sure that every new recruit is a bargain or free agent. I dont see it happening.

You also have to take into account that three of their most sellable assets are coming to the end of their contracts. That and COVID is a disaster for them as the market has almost scratched to a halt. They will require investment from elsewhere to reinvest in the team. It’s all working out very nicely for us and the future CL spots 👏🏻

All of which to be overseen by a rugby man with a background in PR :)

As someone said earlier, the one thing that will top this season off for me is if we give them a right doing in an OF and put at least 5 past them without reply.

Those games were tough to watch when on the receiving end, so it would be nice to return the favour.

Not enough mate. Remember this match still has to be avenged. 8-0 would be nice...
