With the all noise since the game from the media I thought they would cave and overturn it. 

Glad they have been left fuming still. We all know we wouldn't get anything close to this if he went in on another club's player.

I would have been shocked if they had overturned it as it was a definite red card offence. The worst thing is hibs even thought it worthy of an appeal. Ross as good as admitted ref got it right in his post match interview, saying the boy needs to learn from it.

That's what makes it a difficult subject, there is no real way to know if someone's faking it or not. From the situation, e.g. a shit team are a goal up on a good team, we can take it as being likely that they're at it but that's different to actually knowing.

That was my 1st thought as well but McCurry was adamant that it was well known who's faking it and who's not, he was also talking about goalkeepers fucking around at goal kicks and the time it takes teams to take a free kick, throw ins etc, the main crux of the matter though was that the governing bodies are not all that bothered about teams time wasting and don't seem interested in giving support to the refs in this matter,

I wonder if it was them caving in to fan pressure to appeal it, if they started believing the hype and forgot about reality or if they were just chancing it and hope the pressure/hype got to the appeal board.

I don't doubt that a lot of referees, or even most, believe they can tell but that doesn't mean they actually can. I reckon most coppers believe they have special senses that can tell if someone's guilty just by looking at them lol

The other time wasting things should defo be punished more and sooner though. There is no legit reason to take ages to take a free kick etc.

Some amount of cramp players are getting in games these days .

Can’t remember which game I was watching recently .At around 80 mins 2 defenders from the same side both collapsed with cramp at the exact same time .Went down like synchronised swimmers .

These cramps are cured very easily ,Concede a late goal and cramps disappear as if by magic .
