The reasons we have fallen behind

celtic spend up to 30 million. celtic get rid of players like dembele. Edouard, Armstrong when the times right.

we on the other hand are scared to do that and that leaves us with minimum spending.

im not certain but I’m confident some of the players were told to stay after 55. Then Gerrard goes himself.

That leaves some players baffled.

today is the example. celtic sign players who probably would struggle to get in a championship side squad down south but that don’t matter. They have brought a squad together who will fight with added quality at this level i hate to say. They have balanced the team rather than a team full of so called superstars.

their tactics are very simple. I see people saying every deflection falls to them. It’s not luck it’s because they work their way forward and move the ball forward quick and have players already set out ready for dead balls.

this season as happened because we never freshened anything up. Our recruitment staff probably based our recruits on FIFA. They tried something different and it as paid off.

pains to say but no point in hatred get in the way of facts.

GVB

Thanks 👍

Pish. I’m not his biggest fan but the wheels were in motion long before he arrived.
Resting on our laurels and failing to invest and improve in a winning team is the reason….the Board 👍🏻

Before he came we were 4 clear

4 months later we are 6 behind, the leagues done and we're facing a  pumping in the cup

The board have had zero involvement

Dillusional at best mate. Bar 1 or 2 players their stating 11 is better than ours and that's before we look at subs. It says a lot when either of their full backs scores more goals than our most expensive forward in what 20 years or so.

I get the whole staunchness but realistically ability and mentality wise we are way behind them

We will hear about their two CHs for weeks to come the same way we heard about Hetate after the last encounter. (he was horrible today)

I still contend we have a better team than.

For some reason, it just hasn't come together this season right from the start.

Today was our chance and we fucked it.

I still think our team is the better team on paper.

We just seem to lack cohesion for whatever reason.

Too many want away sinple really. We need to punt and reinvest. Only try in europe when they're in shop window.

How much investment was put into the squad at the start of the season? How’d we get on against Malmo?

Gerrards team were struggling and were only in that position due to the tims having their worst start to a season in fuck knows how long. It has everything to do with the board, we’ve let a league go full swing by standing still.

You don't need to think it's 100% the case. Our biggest problem is what version of Rangers turn up every week.

Well make a European  semi final but our season will probably be over in a fortnight domestically madness

I can see us beating Braga (maybe) but that's it. Leipzig or Barcelona would destroy that team today.

As much as the SC would be nice, it feels very anti-climatic right now.
