Don't really see how he fits in the modern game tbh

Not sharp or incisive enough to play through the middle and too slow to play out wide. 

He's technically decent but that's about it.

Aye , I think the team is screaming out for a Lowry . 

Not comparing him to Barry Ferguson , but when he burst onto the scene there was a refreshing gallusness about him that comes with youth .

Gio's in his late 40s with 400 odd games, over 100 caps, 6 or 7 years management under his belt. Think that's plenty of time to have found his feet in the game.

He's not the same kind of quiet anyway. Gio's quietly spoken, but he's also always been confidently spoken and assertive since the first moment he came to Ibrox more than twenty years ago. Tillman comes across as young and slightly timid.

I’ve never been a fan of Tillman. He shows glimpses of skill now and again but disappears during games.  I wouldn’t sign him and definitely not for £5m

Think it’s a similar thing to we had with Hagi and Aribo at times in that he’s stuck between positions and finds himself just floating about in no man’s land doing nothing a lot of the time

You were changing your opinion the other week when he had a half decent game , which surprised me.

The guy is pish and should be on his way back to Germany once his deal is done , same with Sands.

Playing him in any big game is fucking insanity. We’ve seen enough of him now to know that so I’m not sure why Gio continues to do it.

Might come up with a moment of magic in a run of the mill game against the jobbers but why the fuck would you actively put him in the trenches in any sort of game where you know the players are going to have to graft harder than normal for any sort of opportunity.

I don’t even care if he’s not the most highly rated player on here but I would take Arfield and his application over a half arsed Tillman in a big game every single day of the week.

A run or 4 or 5 games you can tell basics of a player even down at youth level.

Has an ego about him though softly spoken.

Thinks hes something cause he was brought over from Bayern Munich imo.
