He's absolutely tremendous and would be a standout in any of our title winning teams over the years. That 1st half was as bad as anything I've seen from a Rangers captain. He sets the standard and that was horrific. No hiding from that. Trooblue and five stars
STEPPS BOY 75,034
He was atrocious defensively today and always is when we step up a level. We can’t do without his goals though. That is and is always the quandry. Bobby Hume and Bluekev

He was shocking today and this season hasn’t been his finest defensively or delivery wise tbh but he always seems to pop up when needed. Mclean RFC 1,277
are we shitting on tav again ? seems the haters have went full circle on him after what is clearly a good season. berkshirebear and OrangeRab
Stunels 1,263
Hes one of our most important players but has shown he is incapable of defending against Maeda (or players with his pace). Wouldnt be surprised if it was his last season with us anyway with saudi cash sniffing about tbh.

We need to get the balance right and recruit better in forward positions. I don’t get what the point is. It’s a shite thread by the usual suspects who have it in for Tav. His performance today was utterly indefensible. And his mistake was punished with pretty bad luck. But unlike half the lot that have also been shite. He’s had multiple performances that have won us games. KeyserSoze and teddybear1975
Ibroxholm 2,290
After how many seasons Tav has been with us, you’d think we’d learn that we have to take the rough with the smooth in terms of his strengths and weaknesses. That said, he was pretty awful first half. Showed balls to step up and put the penalty away after missing his last two.

King Jela 20,658
Horrendous first half. The Maeda goal was unlucky where it ended up, but he initially shat out of passing it back. Okay 2nd half, penalty aside. Bobby Hume

We need 2 new CBs first. Hopefully ones who like heading a ball and can also be a threat in the opposition box at corners

He could have scored another and had an assist and still had a bad game . His overall play has been poor probably since the change of manager. But for some strange reason he still supplies the numbers 😳 Bobby Hume
five stars 1,739
He's done, i actually thought Tav was a decent defender at this peak. But since his pace has gone he's a liability. crazy bob swollenbaws
SeparateEntityMyArse 54,267
He'd a fucking stinker today, but he's not near the biggest problem we have. We've a right footed midfielder at left back whilst Barisic is on the bench but can't be trusted, we struggle to dominate midfield v them and actually need Sterling in there, and up front none of our starting 4 were at the races or near good enough. Our bench was stronger than our forward starters ffs. Sort out some of that shite and there's less focus on Tav. And Maeda destroys every fullback for pace not just Tav. MillwallLoyal 284
Next season should we move Tav into the right of a midfield 3? This limits his defensive woes but allows for the positives still, assists and goals.

DrLaudrup 4,817
Freak first goal and not a great game today but not having that he's the big problem in that team. Give him a run of games at RB and he'll develop into an excellent player for us worth millions. crazy bob swollenbaws
