We can all talk about how we need to get after them from the first second cause they're shite as well but we wont. We will sit back and let them come on to us in the hope we can get away with it for 45-60 mins and then hope they'll get tired and then maybe try and go for it. We really need to batter then from the off, throw everything into it as if it's the last match of the season, because if we don't win then it may as well be. adam2102 582 Posted May 6 Share Posted May 6 A few thoughts on some of the comments in this thread: 1) “why don’t we just attack, their defence is shite” - you need some sort of bite in midfield to attack, our midfield is shite or decent - it’s anyone’s guess. 2) Ben Davies isn’t the answer for us long term. However, he makes far less mistakes per 90 than souttar. I’d start Davies 3) Absolutely would not be starting Silva. The next comment might undo all of my previous (limited) credibility but Matondo running at their defence would be more effective on the left. This relies on Yilmaz being behind him.
