Colin Traive 22,780
Saw him on Sky. Completely out of his depth and saying what he thinks he should say as opposed to what he feels in his gut. Been reading “Press Conferences For Dummies” However, he will learn from this and grow as a coach but every day he’s here is a day we’re not moving forward. I think they’re giving him the rest of the season as promised but I expect that once our interest in the cup ends and the last meaningful league fixture has been played, he’ll be asked to clear his desk next day. Still hope for Clarke, Ross or Potter/Reid BlueKnight87

Steve Clark has done all right, finshing 5th, Jack Ross has done what he realistically should be, Potter is a weird one, don't know much about their expectations etc. MPH, Van Bronckhorst and I'd possibly take De Boer as well. He has taken them from the 4th Division to the last 32 of the Europa league in 6 seasons, that is like taking Stenhousemuir to the Europa league knockouts and beating Arsenal at the Emirates doing so in the space of 6/7 seasons. Popular Post Bobby Hume 13,091
Ah well ... at least he is being honest with himself when he says he is in charge until the end of the season. I believe he will move back to the youths in the summer and i also feel he was a reluctant though enthusiastic candidate for the top job. Not a bad guy in any way .... but unfortunately not the right man for this position. Amokachi, gmcf, Bears r us and 6 others

I stopped listening early on, did he really say something along those lines? If he has then that explains a lot of what we’ve seen and absolutely rules him out of the manager position. I’d honestly put Nicholl in charge until the season end. Smile, cascadeshrimp and Johnny Dangerously

Clarke is, quite simply, Scottish Manager Of The Year by a mile. A failing squad lying near the bottom of the table could well pip us for third place. Jack Ross did a good job at his previous club and was brought in to save St Mirren from dropping out of the championship which he did and followed it up this year by strolling a league we needed two attempts to escape. Graham Potter took on a non-league team and took them all the way through their leagues and into the Europa League. Just think about that for a minute. If a guy took Edinburgh City up through our divisions and into Europe, would you rule him out? His assistant is a dyed in the wool bluenose and would not need to be educated in the importance of the next two seasons None of these guys have spent money and have achieved what they have through organisation, planning, player management and shrewd tactics. Any of them would be a huge step forward. Bottom line is that we will have s limited budget in the summer and we need progressive coaches who can maximise the potential of the current resources which all three have done. Lennon is, if you mean Premiership. He couldn't save Alloa, then had them second. Done well with St Mirren but realistically they should be at the top. He's done well, I know. Don't know if they're a team that only done it with high levels of money or whatever. Jimmy Nicholl is the same, never changed anything let's be fair.
