I really thought we had turned a corner against Hearts, doing something we haven't seen in years. Winning a battle, whilst up against it in a difficult away game.

But I won't fall for it again.

I refuse to believe we're anything different from the last few Seasons until we beat that mhob, and put together a run of 12 games undefeated domestically.

One of the hardest games to swallow in recent times. Utter pish.

Couldn’t agree more, sadly.

We’re still in a position we’d have bitten your hand off for at the start of the season. Just win the next few.

That wont wash tonight, not enough hysteria in your post.

But aye we are definitely still in the running although after tonight its looking like a big ask.

We don’t have the squad or manager to go on any kind of meaningful run beating the taigs and sheep. That’s the reality.

We will need to hope other teams do us favours because against those 2 we are owned constantly and it’s fucking annoying

I’m not for one second suggesting tonight’s performance is acceptable, the polar opposite, but unfortunately we will drop points like every other team do. There will be plenty more dropped as well. We are not at the level to expect to go on long winning or even undefeated streaks.

Hopefully that will change but the league is too competitive now and we aren’t that much better than most of the other sides. Proof is in the league table. Still in a decent position, roll on the weekend.

Agreed, although it's infuriating it was never going to be a straight catapult to the top, although i will say this was a good chance to try stick on the pressure

December was always going to be a tough month,we really need to try and put tonight behind us and start again on Sunday.

Good to see a voice of reason on here after a bad defeat mate.

I missed the game tonight  (thankfully, by the sounds of things) but so long as we are only 4 or 5 points behind celtc at the winter break, I will be reasonably satisfied.

We then just need to sign a creative midfielder - like Steve Davis and a quality striker -? Shankland, Defoe , an other? and we will be right in the hunt for the title.

As disappointing as tonight was - there is no need to panic just yet.

We can still do 55 this season......no surrender!
