I would genuinely almost always agree with you but na, Goldson has been sitting in his house for the past 2 weeks, that was an absolutely embarrassing performance from one of the “leadership group” and I’ve defended him a lot for the last 18 months.

He’s disrupting the team and has to be sold

I’ve not disagreed it was embarrassing and he can fuck off as I said, the rest were worse though.

Barisic was pathetic, Balogun’s worst game and Tavernier should do a sentence for driving like a mongo to put us out our misery the cunt.

Applauded for coming out with it? 😂

The cunts a spineless bastard who's been stealing a living off us since last season ended.

The fans need to hound him out the door, boo his every touch should he somehow ever feature again.

That'll help. Should we start on Thursday night?

Bang on the money for me. The only thing wrong was the game over comment. Actually looked bothered for me too. He's been pish lately but cunts on here saying we should boo his every touch and stuff is mental.

Yup. Looked like it mattered to him.

Him and the rest want to translate that to the pitch.

Goldson looked bothered?

He's not looked interested since July. He's a Duffy level of banter now for them

Guys a shitebag and his Aberdeen antics are not forgotton either. He doesn't want to be here and folk want him applauded

Get to absolute fuck

He shouldn't be applauded but he shouldn't be booed every time he touches the ball. That's equally as fucking baffling and embarrassing as applauding him.

I still don't think Goldson is the problem. Yes, his contract delay is a major problem but he is not really a liability out there.

Balogun is the one who gets caught out of position at times. And Tav has been directly or indirectly involved in about six goals against in recent games.

Goldson plays much better with Helander next to him.

I get the feeling anything he said would have been taken badly tbh. A result and performance like this does that.

I don’t disagree with you Inigo. How’ve they way he said it and the lost and 1/2 time line along with his reluctance to sign a new deal tips the scales against him.

He is easily the most replaceable Rangers player. His captain has flung him under the bus tonight

Still stuck on the bus leaving hampden, has this cunt actually said the teams lost the hunger to win and he knew the game was over at half time 3-1 down?  I want to know he’s said this before I lose the plot with the cunt.

Watch the video, it will be easier to understand just how angry he was.

"I feel like we've lost a bit of hunger. All of a sudden were champions and we don't need to work as hard which is wrong".

Ima take some stick for this but I think hes bang on the money here and has identified a problem a lot of us have pointed out all season. We've all said the players don't look as hungry and there is a spark missing. That's what he's saying.

People are bound to hate on him just now with his performances and contract situation but I feel people are jumping on a bandwagon for fuck all with that statement.

Quite a lot of what he said is brutal and extremely damning of himself and his teammates. It's horrendous for him to say and horrendous for us to hear/read. He's went a bit scattergun like some of us, myself included!

There are a few comments that are a right kick in the nuts though. We've basically gave up at half time. That's what he's said. What chance do we have though when players can't follow instructions and lack hunger. It's a recipe for disaster.

As you say though his contract situation (and some of his performances, as well as being vice captain) compounds everything.

Full comments below:

Asked if the new regime at least gives the Light Blues something to look forward to, Goldson answered: "We have to. We know the manager was there today and you would hope that players would want to impress, but off that performance we need a change, we need a spark.

"I don't want to say this, but I feel like we've lost a bit of hunger. All of a sudden 'we're champions and we don't need to work as hard' which is wrong.

"I feel like that's crept in all season and we haven't been good enough for the whole of this season and hopefully the new manager can come in and give us a spark."

"I'm not going to sit here and not give them credit, they've beaten us fair and square. We didn't deserve to win the game but as Rangers football club our standards need to be so much higher.

"Defensively poor. Three chances, three goals in the first half. You can't give yourself a 3-0 mountain to climb.

"Attacking wise, didn't create anything again. So as a team at the minute we're not performing, so it's as simple as that.

"Back to front not one individual can come off that pitch and hold their head high, and we've got a lot of work to do."

Asked if the poor display was down to the management situation, he replied: "Not at all. The staff have been brilliant, they've covered everything this week. We've let ourselves down, players don't follow instructions.

"The first two goals are both from corners. People are in the wrong position, which we've worked on yesterday. From a throw-in, people are in the wrong position which we worked on yesterday.

"If players don't want to follow instructions then we can't blame coaches because they give us the information to do our job and players don't want to take that on board.

"Then we're 2-0 down and then they score a third goal and the game's over. We can be in their at half-time and say believe in ourselves, and blah blah, but the game's over, you're 3-0 down, 3-1 down at half time.
