This is part of their statement... " Everyone at Celtic recognizes the difficulties presented to society by the current pandemic, and the health and safety of all must always be our priority."

And yet they will have no problem letting 50k+ into their paedo dome tomorrow.

Liars & Hypocrites.

It's at St Mirren mate! :tu:

You don’t know the SPFL very well.

I wouldn’t trust them as far as I could throw them but there is no capacity to extend the season because of the upcoming WC 2022. Historically there has been worse weather following the winter break period and if this trend continues there may be games postponed with no time to play them as it is. The celtic request is nothing more than a protest at loosing out in match day revenue along with their ever increasing injury list from a threadbare (in quality) squad…

Rangers and hearts against it apparently

Good stuff. Hopefully get something official out soon.

It should also stop any vote going through.

St mirren wanting games off because of covid positives ok.

Scum are shitebags looking to take advantage. Get injured players back and bigger support even know that is in no way guaranteed.

The 08 game was a death of a former player that got the game cancelled, when they had injuries and suspensions, to a better time for them.

this is miles more serious than then.

it will be off.

sporting integrity and all that, remember? 😡😡

Another ex-player died in 2008 but they insisted that the matches be played we where on our knees at the time .

Essentially what the tarriers are saying is that there should be no more game splayed until full houses are allowed. which is a ridiculous request given that we don't know how long the restrictions will last

There should be no chance of this being granted but sadly this is Scotland and the SPFL

They'll be on a zoom call  with Doncaster, Mulraney and the boys just now selecting dates for the re-arranged fixtures based on the African Nations schedule and agreeing new protocols stating anyone returning from Africa can't play for 6 months

Surely it has to be taken to a vote by all clubs? Hearts would reject it and I'd like to think we would to. That would see it fail.

Hope your right but wouldn't be to sure of hearts, this is a mob who were happy to see the Scum get gifted a tainted title until they realised it would affect then getting relegated

Hearts are at Easter Road so would imagine they'd be in favour of playing it and that's before you take into account the way they were relegated

Aye, they wont lose out financially.

Aberdeen (us) and Hibs (Hearts) will be desperate for these games to be played with fans.
