What’s frustrating for me is that they always seize the initiative in these situations. This allows them to set and control the narrative with us having to react and play catch up. For example, had we put something out saying that while we are disappointed our fans can’t attend, we stand ready to fulfil our fixture requirements. The timing and tone is important as had we done that they would seem to be running. Now they are trying to show they care about fans etc when we all know it isn’t true. We need to be stronger and more proactive.

We are too busy fumbling about court case papers that we continually lose.

Great point. We always look weaker by responding to their chosen standpoint. We've never been very good with the media.

Imo all it does is show how desperate and needy they are… sleekit bastards!

Anyone who actually believes crowds will be back in 3 weeks is a numpty, will be more like 3 months if we’re lucky.

All seems familiar… “three weeks to flatten the curve”….

They’ll say - We tried but it doesn’t look like the winter break is helping, let’s play behind closed doors now rather than wait. But we tried, we tried.

Listening to Motherwell board on ssb, absolute stick on that this zoom meeting with spfl ends with winter break brought forward, tarriers play St Mirren reserves tomorrow and hey presto, winter break begins on boxing day.

When has any government across the world given a timeline for anything and actually stuck to their word during covid.

zero percent chance this is only 3 weeks.

a more transmissible variant just means numbers will continue to rise, especially through holiday season. Absolute stupidity around the world.

Apparently Hibs now calling for it to be brought forward.

Jesus wept.

Well Hibs have a new manager who wants more time with his squad before actually playing a match so he jumps on the bandwagon. Scottish football in a nutshell where clubs just go with their best interests and no regard for the greater good.

But money talks and Sky etc will want games played.

Without a doubt they are desperate and it's something right out of their playbook.

Take advantage of a situation to get missing players back fit and it wouldn't surprise anyone if the game gets rescheduled to a time when our players are at AFCON.

They are experts are getting their narrative set. It's all about the fans they say, yeah is it fuck

As @DrLaudrup said we should have had something out immediately. Instead we've been to slow again.

I’m convinced the filth will get their 3 points tomorrow to avoid one more match to play later, then the curtain will be brought down before the New Year.

We will have an early winter break then an added week or two because of the weather/covid - before we go back to the status quo or BCD.

I hope you are right about Sky. I’d rather have BCD matches than none at all. (but I live in London)

Sky had fuck all say when they called the league early. They'll have fuck all say again.
